The French
Art Colony, regional multi-art center, in Gallipolis, Ohio, is thrilled to
announce its 2018 multi-arts programming for youth. The FAC will be offering a
variety of classes in the fine and performing arts for children, 5-18 years
old, through the end of August.
Join in on the fun, beginning in
June, with the following camps: “Around the World” art theatre camp, “Coco Day
Camp”, and “Center Stage” dance camp. Followed by the following July and August
camps: “Fairytale Creation” art and theatre camp, “Little Inventors” science
and art camp, “Broadway Bound” theatre camp. Each camp is focused on a
different age group and range in time from 9am-2pm. Taught by Executive
Director, Maggie Jackson, these camps will guide children through new techniques
and skills while allowing them develop their own artistic expression.
Along with the themed camps, the
French Art Colony will be teaching weekly classes in Art, Dance and Theatre on
Tuesday and Thursday evenings, beginning June 19th through August 7th. Sign up
for the full 8-week session at a discounted rate or drop into classes, when
available, for $15.
The Ohio Arts Council helped fund
this program with State tax dollars, to encourage economic growth, educational
excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans. All French Art Colony
classes require advance registration, and have minimum and maximum registration
